The associations Round Table Deutschland and Ladies’ Circle appealed to about 20 schools in Düsseldorf to collect Christmas gifts for children in Bulgaria, Moldova, Romania and Ukraine.
Our school warmly welcomed the call for donations and immediately started to organise the event.
The civic service team created the message for the parents and encouraged everyone to participate. By the end, everyone – parents, students, teachers, school staff – contributed and a real ‘hill of gifts’ was created.
The success of the operation, which took place during the week of 14 to 18 November this year, was once again a testimony to the generosity of the students, families and staff of our school. With the help of student volunteers, supervised by the Civic Service team, the operation took place. The numerous gifts chosen and wrapped by you, as well as all your wishes, were received by the associations on Friday 18 November.
Soon, all the gifts will bring joy and comfort to the children during the festive season – wherever they may be.
A touching success, congratulations to you all, we thank you for your contribution! Special thanks to the student volunteers who participated in this operation and supported the “Vie Scolaire” and the Civic Service team. There is nothing more beautiful than thinking of others during this magical time of Christmas!
