The LfdD is proud to organise the 7th edition of the European PES Games. This event is part of the new system of sports leagues set up by the AEFE and aims to meet the triple objective set by the League: Bringing together and Reinforcing, Openness, Training.

The event will bring together 90 students from 8 schools in Europe (Bratislava, Kyiv, Prague, Warsaw, Vilnius, Tbilisi, Zurich and Frankfurt) for a week of sporting and cultural activities.
Objectives
- Discovering a great city in the European Union;
- Gaining experience and encouraging sporting, human and cultural exchange between students in AEFE schools and building enduring connections;
- Developing a personal commitment to build responsibility, autonomy and initiative;
- Feeling, sharing and a broad range of emotions and creating memories;
- Living together, sharing the same values of mutual support and solidarity;
- Seeing diversity in action through various sporting, artistic and cultural practices – with the French language as the common denominator.
Our young journalists in action
To ensure the event’s success, students in the Cinquième at LfdD have trained all year for a range of specific roles:
- as “International Youth Reporters” (JRI)
- as “Youth Officials”
- as team guides.
As they sharpen their pencils in readiness for the event, our budding journalists have been coached by our CVS advisors Juliette and Mathilde, training hard by covering a range of activities in school and being on the lookout for news – they deserve our encouragement and applause…
