The two classes of 3e joined forces to carry out the Poetry of the Resistance project. This work was conducted in French class by Mme Pons, in art class by Mme Murat and in music class by Mme Ferrant.
The poems presented were written during the Second World War by poets involved in the French Resistance.
The pupils recited a poem accompanied by a soundtrack of their choice. This work had been initiated in class but the pupils prepared it on their own. Each class made a selection of the best performances beforehand.
The class of 3e A additionally created vinyl record covers for each chosen poem in art class.
The combination of the three disciplines made it possible to express all the emotion the pupils experienced when reading these texts. They emphasised courage and freedom.
The best interpretations were voted on by the two classes, their teachers and Mr Dillenschneider: congratulations to Jules and Clovis who won first place, Anaëlle for second one. Madalena and Arthur with Aristodimos tied for third place!
Mae, Maya and Youssef won the special prize for artistic creation for their vinyl, congratulations to all three!
